CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Premier Helen Zille says the province has the highest tuberculosis (TB) cure rate and continues to have the lowest HIV/Aids prevalence rate in South Africa.

Zille delivered her State of the Province Address in Cape Town on Friday, saying the DA-led administration has the best story to tell.

She says provincial government has spent nearly R3 billion on clinics and ambulance stations over the past few years.

Zille adds millions have been set aside to fund mobile health units for rural schools.

"The mobile units will go all over this province to see grade R and one learners to ensure that they have screen testing so that we can identify any disabilities or any health challenges."

Zille says the Cape also has the lowest mother to child HIV transmission rate.

"We have distributed almost R114 million male condoms between April 2012 and March 2013."
