JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have burnt an ANC t-shirt while waiting for the party's election manifesto to be launched.

Leader Julius Malema will outline the party's manifesto in Tembisa, Johannesburg today.

Just few kilometres away from where the EFF is gathering, the ANC Youth League is holding its youth election festival.

Thousands of EFF members have gathered at the Mehlareng Stadium to hear Malema outline the election manifesto.

The EFF's main target is the ANC with several posters slating President Jacob Zuma.

One man is holding up a laminated newspaper snippet of Zuma's Nkandla homestead.

Earlier, a group of EFF members marched through the crowd with a homemade cardboard coffin stating that the end of the ANC as a ruling party is near.

A yellow ANC t-shirt was set alight by a group of men wearing red party t-shirts while others took a picture.
