CAPE TOWN - New Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa is choosing to see the positive side of things after his team lost to Mamelodi Sundowns on the Nedbank Cup on Friday night.

A second half goal from Rodney Ramagalela is all that separated the two teams at Athlone Stadium.

De Sa, who joined the club on Thursday, says their second half performance was pleasing.

"In the first half I don't think we were that good. We allowed Sundowns to play more than us. I though in the second half we showed good spirit. We created more opportunities."

De Sa says despite the loss it is not all doom and gloom.

"Having watched them from this close for the first time because I didn't even attend the training session, I'm pretty positive and I'm very happy with what I saw."
