Police confiscate 28 bags of dagga

CAPE TOWN - Two people have been arrested on the N1 in Laingsburg after they were caught with 28 large bags of dagga.

Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says the two men were driving a hired Nissan X-Trail LUV from Kempton Park to Cape Town.

"We confiscated 28 huge bags of dagga as well as the vehicle. We then handed it over to a police in Laingsburg."

The suspects will appear in court soon.
