CAPE TOWN - The Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras have drafted in spinner Dane Piedt, seamer Shaheen Khan and all-rounder Sybrand Engelbrecht into their squad for Sunday's RAM SLAM T20 Challenge final.

The three players have been drafted into the side to replace the Proteas players who are away on national duty.

Jacques Kallis's inclusion in the Cobras team was also confirmed earlier this week.

Cobras coach Paul Adams says that with the loss of the Protea players, the arrival of Kallis is a major plus.

"It was good to get Jacques into the squad. He brings some balance to the team together with experience and a calm head, which is especially vital for finals. It's key that the team stays nice and calm."

The coach says the Cobras remain a very experienced side, even without the Proteas players.

"The boys have played really well throughout the campaign and they've been consistent. Obviously, we've lost a couple of key players to the Proteas, but I still feel we've got enough experience and quality players in the team to make the play."
