Krejcir 'hitmen' denied bail
Two of the five accused of attempting to kill Krejcir investigators have been denied bail.
JOHANNESBURG - Two of the five people accused of planning to kill detectives investigating Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir have been denied bail.
Zondiswa Biyela and Crime Intelligence sergeant Nandi Nkosi appeared briefly in the Alexandra Magistrates Court this morning for their alleged involvement in trying to kill forensic investigator Paul O'Sullivan and Crime Intelligence officer Colonel Nkosana 'Killer' Ximba.
The last time Nkosi appeared in court she covered her face with a scarf.
Today she just wore a pink jacket, but made sure she didn't look back at the public gallery.
Nkosi and her co-accused listened attentively to the judgment.
The court heard that Nkosi provided photos of the targets and Biyela was in possession of an assault rifle.
The court denied them bail, saying that if they were released they could get together again.
They'll be back in court on 18 February with three others accused of plotting the murder of investigators.
