JOHANNESBURG - The Hawks have uncovered another arms cache related to the Boeremag on a farm in Middelburg in Mpumalanga.

The firearms where found by the police unit, in conjunction with crime intelligence and the National Task Force last Thursday.

No arrests have been made after this discovery.

Herman van Rooyen and Rudi Gouws, who are members of the bomb squad, allegedly hid the firearms in 2005.

They have since been sentenced to 25 years in jail for conspiring to overthrow the ANC and kill former president Nelson Mandela.

The Hawks' Paul Ramaloko says police confiscated an assortment of rifles and ammunition.

"We confiscated these items. They are now at the forensic laboratory for tests. We really can't say whether we will be charging any individual because people who are alleged to have hidden this arms cache have already been charged with similar offences."
