JOHANNESBURG - The police ministry has applauded the team working on the attempted murder cases against Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir after a sixth suspect was arrested.

The warrant officer arrested appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Wednesday, where his case was postponed to next month.

Earlier this month five people, including a senior police official, were arrested for the alleged conspiracy linked to the Czech fugitive, to assassinate forensic consultant Paul O'Sullivan and intelligence officer Colonel Nkosana 'Killer' Ximba.

The police's Solomon Makgale says, "We are very pleased with the work that the investigating team is doing on this matter. In fact, we have been looking for this police officer for a while now. He was not at work so the minute he arrived police went to the offices and apprehended him."
