Metrorail to introduce new timetable
The rail operator believes the new timetable will alleviate congestion in the Western Cape.
CAPE TOWN - Metrorail believes a timetable revamp, scheduled for 1 February will ease congestion.
Commuters have been complaining about delays since the start of the year.
But Metrorail says these travel headaches should decrease significantly following this facelift.
It involves the building of a tech-savvy control centre and the construction of new platforms.
Metrorail's Mthuthuzeli Swartz says, "We have a five point turnaround plan that looks at reorganising our current timetable."
