MADIBENG - Hundreds of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) supporters in red berets and matching T-shirts have arrived at the Madibeng local municipality.

Residents have been bussed in from 36 wards to join the march.

EFF leader Julius Malema will address residents shortly before delivering a memorandum of grievances demanding the provision of water and other services.

The residents say they hope today's march will prompt the municipality to start delivering services to their communities.

Hundreds of EFF supporters are singing and dancing on the Brits main road which leads to the mayor's office.

North West Premier Thandi Modise has pleaded with residents to give the R2 billion water project a chance before staging violent protests.
