DAKAR - The Toyota Imperial Team finished stage 10 at the 2014 Dakar Rally from Iquque to Antofogasta in fourth place, just one hour 15 minutes behind leader, Nani Roma.

Giniel de Villiers admitted that the dunes were very hard on them.
"I couldn't get up the first dunes. I saw the minis went up there. So I stopped and deflated which took us three minutes to do. Towards the end of the dunes, I made a mistake myself and stalled the engine on top of a dune and we were stuck briefly for five minutes. And then we had to stop to repair a puncture."
The team lie fourth overall.
One man who's not in the running is Carlos Sainz, the former champion rolled his Red Bull bakkie and De Villiers revealed he was worried about his former team mate.
"I was really worried when I heard about it because we're good friends and we've been in the team together. I'm just glad to hear that they are okay.
On the bikes, Bareeda Bort took the stage, but Marc Coma reinforced his lead in the general standings. Riaan Van Niekerk finished 12th, and is in the same position overall.
