DA scores Zuma an F
President Jacob Zuma’s performance has earned him an F in the DA score card.
CAPE TOWN - President Jacob Zuma's performance as head of state has been awarded an F by the Democratic Alliance (DA).
The party released its cabinet report card at Parliament on Wednesday.
It scores Zuma and his ministers with grades ranging from F for fail to an A, based on a range of criteria.
DA Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko says Zuma deserves his F.
"President Jacob Zuma has effectively led his cabinet by being the worst performer and receiving an F as he did last year in the review we did the year before.
"I think it is a perfectly fair assessment of his term of office to say that he has failed."
Zuma's term in office comes to an end this year.
The DA says his term has been characterised by job losses and corruption scandals and that is why it has given him an F.
Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi and Science and Technology Minister Derek Hanekom received As.
Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and Tourism Minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk were given Bs.
Zuma and his members of cabinet were judged on a range of criterion including policy and attendance at Parliament.
Eight minister including scandal-prone Tina Joemat-Pettersson were also rated F for failure.
Some people took to social networks to voice their opinions about the score card.
The DA gives Zuma an 'F' for performance. He's probably thinking 'Fantastic!'

the DA gives Zuma an F on their report card... no surprises there. I wonder what the people Khayelitsha, Nyanga and Langa score the DA

The DA have President Zuma an F. Nice to see the DA finally giving a black person something, even if it's just a letter.
