De Sa dismisses Majoro rumours
The Orlando Pirates manager has denied claims that Lehlohonolo Majoro has signed a pre-contract with the club
JOHANNESBURG - Roger De Sa has dismissed reports that Orlando Pirates is close to signing striker Lehlohonolo Majoro.
Majoro's deal with Kaizer Cheifs is due to expire at the end of the season and Supersport United was publicly interested in acquiring his services.
However, the team then pulled out of the deal with the player after suggestions that Majoro may have already signed a pre-contract agreement with Pirates.
De Sa has denied those claims and says any speculation about the club's interest in Majoro is just hearsay.
"I've read a lot about it, I've heard stories about it, but so far I haven't been told anything else. He is a special player, he's a quality player, and we know that. But that's all I can tell you, I don't know anything about a transfer. And I'm sure the club would have told me by now."
