Chiefs awaiting Dladla response
Josta Dladla is still weighing up his options after testing positive for a banned substance.
JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs says they are awaiting a response from Josta Dladla and his agent before they know what steps to take in regards to his failed drug test.
The South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport confirmed yesterday that the player was found to have used a banned stimulant called Methylhexaneamine.
Chiefs Vina Maphosa says no decision has been made on Dladla being able to play for the club.
"At this stage we haven't received correspondence from the PSL, and we cannot jump the gun. There are options and issues, for example the 'B' sample test, that the player may opt to exercise."
