Numsa leaders to meet over resolutions
The union’s top six leaders will meet this week over resolutions adopted at its special congress.
JOHANNESBURG - The National Union of Metalworkers South Africa (Numsa)'s top six leaders are expected to meet this week to discuss how resolutions adopted during its special congress last month will be implemented .
It was at the congress where it was decided that it will not campaign for the African National Congress (ANC) for the upcoming national elections.
It's been reported the ANC and its alliance partners have started to exclude Numsa because of this decision.
Numsa's National Treasurer Mphumzi Maqungo says, "We don't want labour programs, we don't want e-tolls, to some extent we can agree with them that we've been excluded because we have been firm."
