CAPE TOWN - Missing children organisation The Pink Ladies says two missing Belhar boys have been found at a youth centre in the Northern Suburbs.

12-year-old Justin Lee Jacobs and 10-year-old Junaid Baker both disappeared from their homes in extension 19 a week ago.

Community members and police embarked on extensive searches throughout the week to track them down.

Member of the Pink Ladies, Dessie Rechner says police are investigating the incident.

"We're just delighted we were able to get them back. They were actually at a youth centre in the Northern Suburbs. It was very concerning. But the family has them back, they're at home safely and we have an updated photo of them now, which is on record."

She says it's believed the boys wandered off while watching the minstrels.

"These children are very streetwise. I just think they wandered off."
