MBOMBELA - Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) President Sdumo Dlamini has told the African National Congress (ANC)'s manifesto launch at the Mbombela Stadium that leaders thinking of leaving Cosatu should not run away.

Dlamini gave an impassioned speech at The ANC's 2014 election manifesto reveal, which is being held in Mpumalanga today.

He made his point clear, starting with a song praising President Jacob Zuma, and then telling people thinking of leaving the trade union federation to think again.

"We call upon those who are beginning to run away, come back, don't run away from the battle site. Come, let us engage internally here."

The Cosatu president also said the unity of Cosatu is not for sale.

Meanwhile, the ANC's manifesto is now public.

It promises the party will take action against ANC leaders found guilty in a court of law and also says the party will investigate the possibility of instituting a minimum wage.

Virtually every single seat in the stadium is occupied by someone wearing ANC colours and there's a sense of unity, festivity and celebration in the stadium.
