Dakar: Toyota team finish 4th in stage six
Dakar Rally drivers Giniel de Villiers and Dirk Von Zitzewitz are resting after a successful stage six.
ARGENTINA, Salta - The Toyota Imperial team of Giniel de Villiers and Dirk Von Zitzewitz enjoyed a fairly successful stage six between Tucuman and Salta.
The pair finished in fourth place but de Villiers was more concerned that they lost time to stage winner Stéphane Peterhansel.
"The first stage we did without any problems so it was very good from that point of view, although I am a little disappointed that Stéphane took six minutes on us - I wasn't expecting that."
The pair are just under 41 minutes adrift of overall leader Nani Roma, while Leeroy Poulter and Rob Howie are 29 in the standings.
The Toyota Imperial team finished the day in fourth place in a time of two hours, 49 minutes and four seconds. They finished just over six minutes behind stage winner Stéphane Peterhansel.
No racing today as they've reached a well-earned rest day, much to the relief of de Villiers who has had to wake up at 4:30 each morning.
