CAPE TOWN - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund on Thursday said his spies have been sending him footage of opposition players ahead of the opening match of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) on Saturday.

He says he will decide on his starting line-up once he figures out a game-plan to counter the relatively unknown Mozambican side.

"I've got a very competitive team now and all the players want to play. Competition is very fierce in the starting eleven. My selection will depend on how I want the team to play.

"I'm still busy analysing the opposition tapes that I got last night. Everything will depend on the game-plan I decide for the day."

Igesund stated all the participating nations at CHAN have selected the best local talent available.

He said his squad was made up of the best South Africa had to offer, with one unfortunate restriction.

"All the countries in the competition haven't got their overseas-based players, so it's the best of the best of the local teams. All the countries have brought their strongest teams available and we're no different.

"We've tried to pick our strongest team possible without the overseas players."
