Two stabbed at CT airport
A man has been arrested and sent for psychological evaluation after stabbing two people at the airport.
CAPE TOWN - The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) says a man, who allegedly stabbed two people at the Cape Town International Airport, has been sent for psychological evaluation.
The suspect attacked two men in the parking area on Thursday and was arrested on the scene.
The motive behind the stabbing is still unclear.
But the two stabbing victims have since been discharged from hospital.
ACSA's Deborah Francis says, "The police responded immediately, they then called for back-up and apprehended him [the suspect]. It was a random attack, something that never ever happens. It was something so awful."
