The January transfer window may only be three days old but it has been a busy time for a number of PSL teams.

Supersport United have been the big players in the window so far.

Having acquired the services of Lebogang Manyama from Ajax Cape Town on a three-and-a-half-year deal, the club confirmed they have signed a pre-contract agreement with Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Clayton Daniels.

Supersport is rumored to be interested in the services of former player Katlego Mphela, who is currently at Mamelodi Sundowns.

The striker is yet to be offered a contract extension by Sundowns and with him being able to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club, the deal would be good business for Cavin Johnson and Supersport.

Another player who could be on his way to Supersport is Lehlohonolo Majoro.

This is in a swap deal with Kaizer Chiefs, who want their midfielder George Maluleka. Majoro has informed Chiefs that he will not be signing a contract extension with the team.

Chiefs are also expected to be busy in the window as they defend their PSL and Nedbank Cup titles, while they are also involved in CAF Champions league action.

They have expressed an interest in Mamelodi Sundowns striker Edward Manqele, who is currently on loan at Moroka Swallows.

Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates have been quiet so far in the window; rumours suggest that they are looking at Ajax Cape Town's Thulani Hlatshwayo.

Mamelodi Sundowns are also reported to be interested in the defender.
