Sandton businessman slams media
A Sandton businessman has slammed the media for allegedly making up stories about Radovan Krejcir.
JOHANNESBURG - Sandton businessman Djordje Mihaljevic has slammed the media for making up stories about Czech businessman Radovan Krejcir allegedly being linked to his father's death on Christmas Eve.
According to a forensic investigator, Mihaljevic, who owns Sandton Gold and Diamond Exchange, is an associate of underworld boss Krejcir.
But Mihaljevic has rubbished reports that his father's sudden death a few days after surviving a violent hijacking can be traced back to Krejcir.
He has also denied ever doing business with the Czech.
Mihaljevic says his father died due to a heart attack and complications.
"All they want to do is sell papers and I don't want to put petrol on the fire. I want to be respected. I want to grieve my father and that's all that I want."
Krejcir was denied bail earlier this month.
He is facing charges of assault and attempted murder.
