JOHANNESBURG - Man of the first Test match between South Africa and India at the Wanderers, Virat Kohli, says there is a lot his team can take out from the game.

The visitors dominated the Test for four days, only to see victory snatched away thanks to a 205 run stand between AB De Villiers and Faf Du Plessis.

The two match series next heads to Durban on December 26th for the Boxing Day Test.

Kohli says his team will have their tails up after pushing the best team in the world on their home conditions.

"We should take a lot of confidence from this game in the way we batted and bowled over all five days. We've really challenged the number 1 side in the world, and if you look at the number of matches our side has played, its nothing compared to the South African players."
