Wits ready for Black Aces

Wits General Manager George Mogotsi has issued a stern warning to Clive Barker’s squad.

Bidvest Wits take on Mpumalanga Blacks Aces on Saturday night at Bidvest Stadium.

JOHANNESBURG - The Premier Soccer League (PSL) continues on Friday evening with a fixture between Bidvest Wits and Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The other game sees Ajax Cape Town play Moroka Swallows.

Both games start at 8 pm.

The fixture against Wits will see Clive Barker return to his former club.

He will be looking to claim all three points as he looks to move his tenth-place side up the PSL log.

Wits General Manager George Mogotsi is well aware that the former boss is back to steal points from the Clever Boys.

"We are playing against our ex-coach, Clive Barker, who happened to have a pool of good players in his team. Unfortunately for him, we will be waiting for him."

Wits head into the match with a clean bill of health.

The students are fifth on the log and will be looking to bounce back following a 2-1 loss to Kaizer Chiefs Chiefs during their last outing.

For Black Aces defender Thabang Rooi and midfielder Abia Nale recently returned to training following injuries.

The two teams have played 29 league fixtures, with the Clever Boys claiming 15 wins and three losses.
