CAPE TOWN- Cricketer JP Duminy said he is looking forward to playing at Newlands on Friday night.

He is back at his home ground after an injury layoff kept him out of the game.

The Proteas will be looking to win the T20 series against Pakistan.

The South African team is 2-0 up in the series.

Duminy says it's always special playing at the iconic ground.

"It's great to be back in the green and gold at Newlands. It's been a while since I played a home series for South Africa."

Duminy added the team wanted to improve when batting second.

"We still have to find our feet in terms of batting second, especially in One Day cricket and T20."
