JOHANNESBURG - Bafana skipper Itumeleng Khune says the team will have to be technically sound if they are to stand any chance of competing with Spain.

Gordon Igesund's troops host the world champions at the FNB Stadium tomorrow evening and will be looking to shock the number one ranked team in the world.

Khune says he hopes the Bafana players can make South Africa proud.

"We know that Spain is a very good team, tactically and technically organised. But we'll go out there and give the best for the country."

Kickoff is at 9pm on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Khune walked away with a brand new BMW 1 series and R1 million after being named SA Sports Star of the Year at the South African Sports Awards last night.
