'Poo wars' ringleaders face disciplinary action
The two were suspended after spearheading violent protests throughout Cape Town.
CAPE TOWN - Two of Cape Town's so-called toilet wars protest ringleaders are expected to attend their final ANC disciplinary hearing next weekend.
Andile Lili and controversial ANC city councilor Loyiso Nkohla have been temporarily suspended from the party.
The two have been accused of leading last week's violent housing march in the Cape Town CBD.
The ANC's Songezo Mjongile says, "We expect that the matters would be finalised next weekend. The expectation is that they will be there to defend themselves."
Last week, Lili said it was all systems go for their next move to bring Cape Town to a halt.
Lili led hundreds of protestors to the provincial legislature.
