Fans bid Bucs farewell

JOHANNESBURG - Orlando Pirates are jetting off to Egypt this evening ahead of their CAF Champions League second leg final on Sunday.

A special send-off has been arranged at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

Pirates take on Egyptian giants Al Ahly in Cairo on Sunday.

Many supporters arrived at the airport to bid farewell to the Bucs.

Fans will be hoping Pirates can put in a better performance following their one-all draw at Orlando Stadium over the weekend.

Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula is expected to address the crowd.

Gauteng Sport MEC Lebogang Maile is also expected to attend the event.

The team departs for Cairo at 9:45pm.

Sunday's game starts at 6pm.
