Jele, Jali could miss CAF final
The Bucs are waiting for confirmation from CAF on whether the two players can take part in the match.
JOHANNESBURG - Orlando Pirates could be without captain Happy Jele and midfielder Andile Jali for the second leg of the CAF Champions League final against Al Ahly.
The players picked up yellow cards in Saturday's one-all draw at Orlando Stadium.
As a result, the pair could miss the next game.
The club is waiting for confirmation from CAF on whether or not the players can take part in the match.
Regardless of the outcome, Pirates Coach Roger de Sa believes his team will be alright.
"In sport we are always going to miss players through injury - sometimes they are crucial players. Somehow, somebody gets in and does the job. You've to believe in what you have and work with the players that you have."
De Sa is happy with how well his players have done so far.
"Throughout the competition the guys have been fantastic. They keep on playing the way we've asked them to play. Now we have to go to Egypt for another four days. It will be a difficult task and hopefully, we'll overcome this last hurdle."
De Sa says the support from all South Africans has been amazing.
"It's been an unbelievable experience. Just to see Chiefs, Sundowns and Celtics fans at the stadium was great."
The second leg will take place in Cairo on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 6pm.
