JOHANNESBURG - Police say they're investigating a case of murder and house robbery after Serbian national Veselin Laganin was killed at a Bedforview complex in the early hours of this morning.
Laganin had links to Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir - they were both arrested last year in connection with a robbery.
It appears that the Serbian national in his 50s was killed here at the Wedgewood Green complex in Bedfordview during a robbery.

He apparently was associated to both Radovan Krejcir as well as Sam Issa who was killed a block away from here last month.
Police have released a statement saying two suspects entered his home at about 3 am and took jewellery from his wife.
When he woke up the suspects shot and killed him apparently with his own firearm.
A bag with two nine millimeter pistols were later found outside the complex.

YET ANOTHER ALLEGED HIT
Issa, also known as 'Cripple Sam' or 'Black Sam', was shot more than 30 times while he was stopped at a traffic light in his Audi Q7.
Issa was approached by a white Ford Ranger with an ND registration number.
An unknown suspect fired shots at him.
Various items, including a .38 revolver, 9mm rounds and a silencer were found in his vehicle.
Officers also found four cellphones.
Krejcir has denied ever being close to Issa or having any links to the killing.
A multi-disciplinary task team is investigating the killing.
In October another of Krejcir's associates received a death threat saying " you're next".
