JOHANNESBURG - Orlando Pirates take on Al Ahly in the first leg-final of the CAF Champions League at the Orlando Stadium tonight.

They'll be looking to repeat the success they enjoyed after winning the coveted title back in 1995.

It's been 18 years since the Buccaneers last tasted glory in Africa.

Under the guidance of Roger De Sa Pirates have shown their tenacity and grit, putting in big performances when they were most needed.

Andile Jali and Oupa Manyisa will play huge roles in dictating the tempo of tonight's match with many looking to Lenox Bacela to find the back of the net.

Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula believes success for Pirates here will do the country good.

"Pirates can inspire Bafana Bafana."

Kick-off against Al Ahly, seven time winners of the competition is at 20:30 this evening.
