CAPE TOWN - In the latest from the India cricket tour debacle, Newlands has been left with an unfortunate snub while Kingsmead's cup is running over.

Western Province Cricket has accepted it will not host any matches during the tour, despite Durban and Johannesburg hosting a Test and a one-day international (ODI).

SuperSport Park in Centurion will also host an ODI game.

The irony is that KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union had to move a Dolphins four-day game to Pietermaritzburg to accommodate the ODI on 8 December

It's something KZN Cricket CEO Jesse Chellan had to check when EWN Sport called him about it.

"I have to check on that. We are not playing any Dolphins games over the Boxing Day test period. There was a game scheduled for when the ODI is now scheduled."

Cricket South Africa confirmed that the Sunfoil four-day game between the Dolphins and the Cobras will now take place at Kingsmead.

The Dolphins and the Titans will play in Pietermaritzburg from 5-8 December.
