CAPE TOWN - There is chaos in the Cape Town city centre where irate protestors have descended on both the Western Cape Legislature and St. George's Mall calling for houses and land.
It started on Wednesday morning when train services were affected after protestors placed rocks at the Nyanga Station.
Demonstrators have been evading officers in the CBD all day.
Stalls at St George's Mall have reportedly been looted by some protestors who arrived earlier at the Western Cape Legislature.
It was not long before some protesters started to break away to various streets around the legislature.
Some protestors say they will not move from the CBD until Western Cape Premier Helen Zille comes to address them.
