Mmusi Maimane launched the DA's registration campaign for next year's elections in Soweto on Monday.
JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance (DA) officially launched its registration campaign in Gauteng for next year's elections on Monday and encouraged South Africans to register at voting stations next month.
Registration and reregistration will take place at different voting stations nationwide on 9 and 10 November.
The DA's Gauteng premier candidate Mmusi Maimane launched the campaign near his family home in Dobsonville, Soweto.
Maimane said he is confident the DA will win next year's elections in this province.
"It's clear that people have grown frustrated waiting for services. People are looking for an alternative."
