Couple in N2 tragic accident

DURBAN - A middle aged couple has been found dead after their bakkie veered off the N2, smashed through the barriers and landed in the Amanzimtoti River this afternoon.
It's still unclear exactly what caused the accident.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the pair died from drowning in the river.
"I found the car upside down. Myself and two other people went in.
"We managed to break the windows and pull the people from the wreckage but tragically they had both passed away, obviously being submerged in the water."
