Ratanga Junction ‘not closing soon’
Management says while new attractions are expected, the establishment will stay open.
CAPE TOWN - Management at one of the country's top theme parks, Ratanga Junction, said on Tuesday while it won't be closing its doors anytime soon, it will begin shutting down some of the more popular rides.
There have been rumours the park will close its doors after 15 years.
Ratanga Junction's Maggie Rowley says they plan to stay open for at least the next four to five years.
"There are no plans whatsoever to close Ratanga. We are, however, reassessing some of the attractions."
She says they are currently retiring the Crocodile Gorge splash ride and may shut down Diamond Devil Run next year.
The Slingshot will also be relocated to elsewhere in the park to make way for a new attraction.
