Police say all hostages inside a pharmacy in Seaview have been released unharmed.
CAPE TOWN - Port Elizabeth police say all hostages inside a pharmacy in Seaview have been released unharmed.
According to media reports, the 53-year-old man and his 19-year-old son entered the pharmacy around midday and demanded that the staff give them injections to commit suicide.
Officials say they are trying to negotiate with the father and the son to surrender.
The area has been cordoned off for the past few hours.
The police's Stanley Jarvis says, "We are still busy with negotiations with the two individuals inside the pharmacy."
