CAPE TOWN - Western Province captain Deon Fourie is the biggest injury concern ahead of their Currie Cup final.

The utility forward has a neck muscle injury and could miss the match against the Sharks at Newlands this weekend.

Lock De Kock Steenkamp is dealing with some bumps and bruises.

Province coach Allister Coetzee says "Deon Fourie has a neck muscle spasm, a bit more of a knock to the muscle so there is a bit of bleeding there and I will give him as much time as he needs to recover. De Kock is the lesser concern."

The game kicks off on Saturday at 5pm.
