The ANC chief whip accused a DA MP of acting unethically and revealing sensitive information on Facebook.

CAPE TOWN - African National Congress (ANC) Chief Whip Stone Sizani is unapologetic for accusing an opposition Member of Parliament (MP) of acting unethically.

The Democratic Alliance (DA)'s Dianne Kohler Barnard is considering suing Sizani after he claimed she had shared sensitive information about Parliament's ethics committee on Facebook.

The allegation was based on a media report.

But after an investigation the ethics watchdog dismissed the complaint.

Sizani's spokesperson Moloto Mothapo believes the initial media report was misleading.

"We can never be apologetic for having done what is right. We noticed something that we thought was wrong, we reported it to the relevant authorities and they conducted an investigation."
