The inquest into the bus crash that claimed the lives of 14 school children has been postponed.
CAPE TOWN - The inquest into the Rheenendal bus crash that claimed the lives of 14 school children and a driver is set to resume in April next year.
The school children and driver were killed when the bus they were travelling in plunged into a river.
It's believed the incident was caused by faulty brakes.
The matter was postponed in the Knysna Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Jerald Andrews, the lawyer representing the victims' families, says, "We were unable to prepare properly the transcript of the record of the previous sitting and we have not received the report of the expert witness that the other party's would have called to dispute the evidence."
