Accident closes part of N1 highway
Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says motorists can expect major delays.
CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says motorists can expect major delays on their way home this afternoon as a part of the N1 outgoing has been closed.
This is due to an accident involving a truck and a bakkie at the Woodstock turnoff on Lower Church Road.
Emergency workers are busy trying to a free motorist from a bakkie.
Africa says, "Because of this accident, a part of the N1 is closed to traffic. We urge motorists to make use of alternative routes when leaving Cape Town in the direction of Paarl."
