JOHANNESBURG - The case of a couple accused of murdering a Johannesburg father, whose body was found in the boot of his car at Montecasino, has been postponed to next week.

Former stripper Maruschka Robinson and Jean-Pierre Malan made a brief appearance in the Randburg Magistrates Court.

The two sat far apart from each other as they appeared in the dock again this morning.

The case has been postponed so that the former stripper can secure the services of a lawyer.

The pair allegedly killed Dustin Bloom over a week ago, dumped his body in the boot of his car, and parked it at Montecasino in Fourways.

Police say Robinson and Malan, an alleged drug trafficker, also withdrew about R35,000 from Bloom's bank account.

Malan has indicated he will not be seeking bail and has agreed to give the state his blood samples.

The case will resume on Wednesday next week.
