JOHANNESBURG - The case involving one of the six men accused of being part of an international child pornography syndicate has been postponed in the Randburg Magistrate's Court.

When the case continues on 5 November, the court will be presented with a report on a range of cybercrimes.

Police conducted raids on various homes in four provinces two months ago.

The syndicate allegedly manufactured and distributed child pornography.

The man is yet to plead in court.

Five other suspects have already appeared in different courts across the country.

According to police, an award-winning author, two teachers, a lawyer, a dermatologist and a businessman were arrested.

During the raids, police confiscated electronic equipment, including 600 DVDs, memory sticks, laptops, tablets, external hard drives and 25 books.
