Boks to take on Wallabies at Newlands
While the Springboks are expected to dominate, they have vowed not to underestimate the Wallabies today.
CAPE TOWN - With less than two hours until kick off there's already a party atmosphere at the Newlands Stadium where the Springboks are expected to take on the Wallabies at 5pm today.
The smell of boerewors hangs in the air as people slowly begin to arrive.
It's virtually a sell-out at the stadium today with only a few more tickets available.
Dark clouds are hanging over the stadium and it has already started drizzling, which could make for an interesting match later on.
Morne Steyn and Jannie Du Plessis will run out for their 50th Boks caps and will want to make their landmark tests memorable ones.
"We're not going to underestimate the Aussies."
That was the message from Jean De Villiers who added it's not going to be an easy match.
"The Australian team will be at their best on the weekend, it will be a massive game for us so we need to improve on all facets of our play."
