Steyn hopes for warm reception at Newlands
Springbok flyhalf Morné Steyn is expecting a different reception at Newlands this time around.
CAPE TOWN - Springbok flyhalf Morné Steyn believes he will have the backing of the Newlands faithful during Saturday's Test against the Wallabies.
As a Bulls player, Steyn repeatedly gets booed and heckled by the often unruly Newlands crowd.
But this time around, he is confident Newlands will be packed with Bok supporters cheering him on.
"You get used to the booing when playing at Newlands for the Bulls, but this time it will be different because I'll be in a green jersey. Hopefully, the whole of Newlands will be behind us."
The game kicks off at 5pm.
