JOHANNESBURG - A man has been arrested at OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday afternoon after he was found with cocaine worth more than R50,000 strapped to his feet .
The man flew into South Africa from São Paulo in Brazil.
He was taken in for questioning.
South African Revenue Service's Marika Muller says the drugs weren't immediately discovered.
"He had nothing untoward in his bags, we did a general body search on him and he wasn't carrying anything. But when we got him to take his shoes off, we discovered he was carrying little packages of cocaine strapped to the soles of his feet."
