JOHANNESBURG - Andile Jali has been given the all clear on his shoulder injury after he went for a second consultation, Orlando Pirates confirmed on Thursday.

Last week, it was reported that the player would be out for up to 10 weeks.

But following intensive treatment over the weekend, Jali went for a second opinion.

The first set of results from the MRI scan showed inflammation on the shoulder, making it hard to determine the extent of the injury.

Following a second set of tests, the midfielder has now been given the all clear.

Orlando Pirates' Floyd Mbele says the technical team will make a final call on whether to include him in the MTN8 final.

"Jali is available. The technical team will take a decision based on his fitness."

Pirates will face Platinum Stars in the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

The game kicks off at 8:15pm.
