NSRI searches for teens off Camps Bay
Rescue teams say an extensive search has been launched.
CAPE TOWN - There is still no sign of two boys who went missing while swimming off Camps Bay.
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) says the two 16-year-old school boys were trying to help a fellow learner who was in distress after being caught in a rip current on Wednesday, but they too ran into trouble.
A surfer managed to help one of the teens.
But the other two boys disappeared in the water and it's feared they've drowned.
The institute's Craig Lambinon says, "An extensive search is being carried out, but there is still no sign of them".
