JOHANNESBURG - New allegations have emerged on the death of a four-year-old Katlehong girl who was raped, murdered and found hanged last week.

Keabetswe Tshabalala went missing last Sunday in the Mofokeng section of the Katlehong township.

Her body was discovered hanging inside an old building the following day.

Tshabalala's uncle, Thabiso Radebe, says the man who allegedly killed his niece cut her tongue out to perform a satanic ritual.

"People make muti with body parts. I think he was going to make muti with it or something."

Radebe says the discovery was made on Thursday after they were alerted by the funeral parlour.

But the police say they haven't received a report with such claims.

Tshabalala was laid to rest the following day.

A 37-year-old man, who is a family friend, has been arrested in connection with the crime.

He is scheduled to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
