Task team probe Nkosi's 'brothel'
A task team will probe allegations that Makhosini Nkosi is running a brothel.
JOHANNESBURG - Police say a special task team has been appointed to investigate allegations that Riah Phiyega's former spin doctor Makhosini Nkosi is running a brothel in Randburg.
The Sunday Times reported that Nkosi runs the service at his premises in Randburg where he also operates his communications company.
He has since dismissed this saying it is a lodge with a massage parlour.
He was quoted as saying it was an,"interesting B & B and adult lodge for discrete encounters".
The police say Phiyega's contract with Nkosi ended in June this year and that she was not aware of any criminal activities.
Meanwhile, questions have again been raised about whether Phiyega conducts adequate background.
In August, Phiyega appointed Bethuel Mondli Zuma as Gauteng Police Commissioner, but within hours she reversed her decision after it emerged he faced criminal charges.
